Hey All. You've all seen my puppy, but here are some other pets I have. They're called Australian Spiny Leaf Insects (also known as Macleay's Sceptre Insect). We have three of them, Twiggy, Sceptre and Leela. They eat gum leaves, and are very easy to look after. They don't bite or hurt you in any way, but apparently they are often used in movies in place of scorpians as they can look a tad creepy! I admit they're not everyones ideal pet, but I like them. They're an interesting addition to our menagerie!!

ReplyDeleteWoah... that gave me a little shock at first!! But they look like lovely pets! :) I'm not really scared of insects, it's only caterpillars that give me the creeps... eeughhh!!
