It´s a rainy day!

Hi girls. Today it´s raining a lot here, so I send to you a photo of my favorite snack, the name is "cookie of rain", because the grandmas usually make it in rainy days. It´s a typical brazilian snack. This photo reminds me my childhood in my granny´s home. I hope some day eat these cookies with you all. Many kisses. Cris

  6. The recipe!

    Cookies of Rain

    Ingredients:

    2 eggs
    2 tablespoons sugar
    1 cup of milk
    Wheat to point
    1 tablespoon of baking
    Syllabub
    Method of Making:
Mix all ingredients until a mass not too soft, not so hard
Let heat a pan with enough oil so that the dumplings float to
When you're hot and start to put spoonful of mass and lower the fire so that the cookie is not raw inside
Place the cookies on absorbent paper and then pass them prefer the sugar with cinnamon.

    Hope you like!!!!

  7. WOW! Even the recipe. Ok, here we have a restaurant called Tim Horton's. It is named after a famous hockey player. They make donut holes that look like this...but probably not as good as Cookies Of Rain! Thank you for the post AND the recipe!!

  8. Dear Cris, thanks for the recipe, we make something similar here, last week I was at my mother´s home and we made it for breakfast, we can do it flat (like a sort of pancakes) or round, but these one are not so usual and we fried them also, but I´ve never seen them so perfectly round ;) They are delicious! Hugs, PoliXena
