Poly Girls Recipe Book! - Angel_Emz95

Hey everyone I have an idea... jangold is doing an amazing job with the poly girls posters, and I thought seeing as there are so many posts with delicious-looking food maybe we could make a poly girls recipe book!!
So if anyone has any recipes that they would like to submit, make a post (preferably with photos!) and I'll have a go at making a recipe book if I can.
Recipes can be for anything... from cookies to crabcakes and pies to punch!
What does everyone think of the idea?
XOXO, Em

Ladies that lunch - jangold

Morning girls. I have a busy but lovely day ahead as I am meeting my friend Kerry for lunch at our favourite restaurant in town called Granvilles. I took this picture of the outside of it last Summer. The restaurant is very special to me as it is owned by an old school pal and he bought a little coffee shop first just after he left school and turned it into quite a famous jazz place. Then he bought the larger shop next door, which had previously been a paint/DIY shop, and knocked the two into one as quite a substantial property. As a child, I spent a lot of time in this paint shop as my Father was a painter and decorator and I used to go with him to get his paint and things and as a trades person he spent most of his time in the stockroom at the back, which now forms the bulk of the restaurant. So this place has very special memories for me and although my Father died 15 years ago, I always think he is with me when I am there especially and remember the times I spent as a young child in the back of the shop with him. When Lee and I got married abroad we had our 'pre wedding' luncheon reception here also - so it has double special memories. I hope the sun shines through and Kerry and I have a great time. Hugs to you all Jan xxx

What are you doing? - Angel_Emz95

In answer to Monika's question... I am eating a chocolate brownie that I just made :)
I didn't leave them in the oven quite long enough, so they are very soft and fall apart easily... but they still taste absolutely gorgeous!!!
And I'm getting crumbs all over the keyboard!

What are you doing?

Love, Em
